Dear Friends,

I wanted to let you know that I am endorsing Ryan Meili in his leadership bid.

I have thought long and hard about this decision. I feel that Ryan can bring a energy and thinking as a leader that we need if we are going regenerate a progressive social democratic agenda.

Ryan's words have been strong on a new politics that embraces communities as well as political structures. He can be a critical inter generational bridge in bringing different life experiences together for a society that puts people before profits.

His international work and his work in the Core neighborhoods of Saskatoon and the north of Saskatchewan and Mozambique speak for themselves. This is where we practice internationalism and solidarity between diverse communities.

I also feel that Ryan understands the necessities of power. You can not only talk change, but you as a leader have to make it happen - with a vision, foresight, a policy and plan and the courage to implement.
